Aapartments "DANICA" is situated at the most quiet and peaceful part of island Hvar in the bay "Torac" (croatian: "Uvala Torac") in the small village Gdinj, on the southern side of the island Hvar, far away from urban rushes and noise, 24 km western from town "Sucuraj", 35 km eastern from town "Jelsa" and 70 km eastern from town Hvar. Also near the our house is other beautiful bay "Tvrdni dolac"( croatian " Uvala Tvrdni dolac"). Both bays have nice large pebble beach (distances from house are approx. 70 m), which are placed in the end of hills overgrown with reach pine forest. House "Danica" is 10 m distance to the water edge.

In the bay "Torac" there are only 10 houses, while in the bay "Tvrdni dolac" there are 15 houses, and all houses do not have electricity. In the house "Danica" the lights are powered with solar panel and 12 V electricity, cookers and fridges are powered by gas (propane-butane). It is possible to charge mobile phones.The nearest shop is in the center of village "Gdinj" (approx. 4 km distance). Restoran is in the bay "Tvrdni dolac".If you need bank, exchange office, petrol station, cafe and restorants you can go to town "Jelsa" (it need 45 minutes time with car driving).

We are offering you two aparatments: A4+1 (apartment in high roof with separate directly outdoor entrance ), and A8+1 (entire first floor of house with separate directly outdoor entrace). Both apartments have own private parking place, and possibility using of barbecue, and view on the Torac bay and Tvrdni dolac bay, island Korcula and peninsula Peljesac.
